Finding unity without moments of disagreement is a given. Learning how to navigate through the misunderstandings and differing opinions and to create a space that makes it safe to share our views even when they may not be the popular ones in order that we would be honoured is what working in unity looks like to me .

As we enter into the unity of marriage we enter it with the understanding that not every moment will we always agree. Or at least that is the best way to enter this relationship. Often though in the honeymoon stage of marriage we forget that part and then we are taken aback when we have that first big disagreement. Standing in unity in this case is deciding to work our way through the disagreement or misunderstanding til we come to a place of understanding and acceptance. It may an understanding that this is a subject best not discussed as the differences are wide apart. Other times it will be one understanding and accepting the other's point of view and even adopting...

The photo with the caterpillar taken in my car in New Zealand. I looked down and saw this being crawling along. The bit on the head may be poop for all I know and it reminded me of a crown and how wonderfully we are created!
